Rclone Backup is a personal OAuth configuration for the owner's use of rclone with the owner's Google Drive. It is not a service for other users.
With the owner's permission, rclone uses Google Drive access to create, list, read, update and manage files needed for backups in the owner's Google Drive. The owner chooses the local folders to back up. Access to Google Drive may include files beyond the backup folder because the OAuth permission grants broad Drive access.
Backup files are transferred between the owner's Mac and the owner's Google Drive. OAuth credentials are stored in the owner's local rclone configuration. This website does not request or receive the owner's Google Drive files or OAuth credentials. Google Drive data is not sold or shared with third parties by this personal configuration.
The owner can stop backups and revoke the application's access in their Google Account security settings. Deleting files already backed up to Google Drive is a separate action.
